Want to know how to make money online? Google “passive income” or “make money from home” and you’ll be inundated with get rich quick schemes and work from home scams. Don’t fall for it! There are ways to build additional income streams and none of them should cost you money upfront.
When I was working my last office job, I had to spend over 60% of my take home pay on daycare, so I looked into many of the different ways to make money online – which I detail here on my other blog.
While I was able to make a livable income from those resources on a good month, I knew I needed to have a better plan if I wanted to quit the 9-5 and be my own boss.
Having been a blogger for nearly 20 years, I quickly realized the best way to do this was to create a for-profit blog (duh). So I launched my frugal living site in November 2015, ran a couple e-courses, and within five months, I was able to quit my 9-5.
I dabbled in affiliate marketing, considered going the sponsored post route, enjoyed my e-courses, but in the end it was the 1:1 programs that really did it for me – a combination of genuine enjoyment of the work plus money that would allow me to work from home while raising my children.
The thing of it is, though, I have a background in education and organizational leadership. There are SO many people out there who claim to be experts in all things “online business” and yet they’re the reason so many others view this industry as another MLM (aka pyramid scheme).
Making money online and following your dreams of freedom is 100% possible, if you’re willing to put in the work and you’re realistic in your goals. Personally, my programs won’t teach you to make $20,000/month but what I WILL teach you is how to make a livable income online and run a successful business in less than 30 hours/week.
So if you’re considering starting a blog or otherwise making a livable income online, we should talk first. No sales pitch, no catch, just me wanting to help you avoid the same costly mistake I once made (a $2,200 dollar mistake!!) Seriously book a call with me or simply e-mail me – I’m always here to help as best I can!
